Health Visitor

Christine Morrison (RGN, SCM, NDN. Cert. HV. Cert)
Christine is the liaison health visitor for Burnfield but one of twelve health visitors will attend to our families with children under 5 years of age and provides information, advice and support to all age groups, particularly in times of stress. Christine at present runs the baby immunisation clinic on Tuesday morning.

District Nurses

Elaine Finlayson, Margaret Slater, Laura Greenshield, Margaret McColl, Catriona MacDonald, Doreen Barker, Jackie MacKintosh and Marie Wheeler

District Nurses are attached to the Practice providing nursing treatment and advice to the housebound and patients recently discharged from hospital needing treatment and care.)

Midwives

Midwives are attached to the Practice providing nursing treatment and advice during maternity care antenatal and postnatal.
Clinics on Mondays from 13.30 to 15.30.

Community Psychiatric Nurse

Provides the service for mental health problems.

MacMillan Nurses

Macmillan Nurse provides care for cancer patients and gives support to their families.

Physiotherapist

The Physiotherapist works in the practice on Monday afternoons and provides an assessment service for patients who have been referred by the GP.
